T minus 2 hours and we are off!!!
Destination...Florida Campgrounds
"Long Key State Park" just south of Key Largo and "Flamingo Campground" in the Everglades!!!
But before we live as hippies for 15 days, we will enjoy a little civilization with a stop off in Georgia to see J&C and then two days in the Florida Panhandle to visit with K&F.
Our truck is packed to the max with camping gear, snorkeling equipment, our bikes, and of course bathing suits!!
The longest we have ever camped was 5 days so this indeed will be a new adventure!! Fruits, Veggies, and Nuts are on the menu with an occasional mammal or fish ;)
Gary has already started growing his beard!! Washing clothes in the shower and sleeping on a cot should be interesting!! But hey, life is an adventure so we are going to stretch ourselves a bit (or I am anyway ;) ).
