The fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Self-Control
That was the theme of this years Camp G. At the end of the week the kids were given "Fruit Cups" that each day they are to pull our a "fruit" and work on it that day. And since they have gotten home they have been doing it :)
Back to the Owen's Cabin for another great time with the grandkids. This year everyone brought their bike and we had a blast riding, walking, and playing in the creek. We ended the weekend with lunch at the cabin with their parents!
I love having this time with the grandkids. And the grandkids love hanging out together and spending this time with us. Only one accident and that was Owen falling out of the bunk bed. Six staples in his head over that fall!! I think we are done with bunk beds!!
I think the best part for me is Gary sharing God's truth with them and seeing them soak up God's Word.
I will say as a grandparent this is one of the best things we do with the kids.
Next year will be a bit different. Our plan is to take them to the beach for a week...we are letting their parents come too :)
We truly praise God for our family, we are so thankful!
